Summary: Destruction AllStars is a vehicular arena combat game for up to sixteen players online. It is a PS5 exclusive and was made available for free at launch through the PlayStation Plus program. Players wreck each other in cars in arenas filled with obstacles, ramps and pits, but can also leave the vehicle to move and fight on foot or enter a new vehicle. There are no weapons or power-ups to pick up, attacking can only be done by hitting directly.

While on foot characters can move, jump and have a barge attack as well as a breaker - an on-foot super that provides double jump, a speed boost and a strong ability unique for each of the sixteen available characters. Characters can also jump and hang on to cars, and be shaken off. Cars are not unique to a specific character. The vehicles are divided into light, medium and heavy classes.

There are four multiplayer modes. In single-player there is an Arcade mode, a Practice mode and mode where games can be customized. In single-player the game is played against bots. Using the in-game currency or real money through in-app purchases skins, emotes, vehicle emotes and shouts can be unlocked. There is a Challenge Series mode with seven challenges divided over the available game modes, with story elements and cut-scenes showing clashes between two characters. The first is available for free, but the other series can only be bought using real money. There is support for voice chat.

The player also collects in-game currency and potentially keys. Should Zagreus' health points drop to zero, he "dies" and ends back up facing his father, removing all gifts granted from the last run. In this area, before settling on a new quest, the player can use the currency to unlock permanent upgrades for Zagreus, or the keys to unlock different weapons.

Summary: Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a 3D platformer starring Sackboy, the character first introduced in the LittleBigPlanet games. One day the evil jester Vex invades Sackboy's planet Craftworld, part of the Imagisphere where the Sackfolk live, by literally tearing the sky and climbing inside. He uses a machine called the Topsy Turver to suck up all inhabitants. Sackboy is the only one who can escape in a space ship, stealing Vex's plans for what he calls the Uproar that will remove all creativity from the world. Order needs be restored by completing five large words. They have different themes such as 'jungle', 'retro space-age', 'countryside' or 'underwater'. The main goal is to collect orbs that dispel Vex's barriers so Sackboy can reach the top of a mountain.

Typical platformer gameplay consists of attacking enemies, jumping, light environment based puzzle-solving and collecting items. Sackboy can jump, roll and grab. The game uses a light, whimsical style where 3D elements are mixed with 2D cut-outs. The 3D element is new for the series as previous games used 2.5D. New costumes and emotes are unlocked along the way. There is some amount of freedom to explore in different directions. The player is encouraged to search and explore carefully as the total level score is determined by the amount of items picked up. Some levels provide temporary access to upgrades such as hover boots, a boomerang, and a blaster.

Cooperative multiplayer, both local and online and cross-gen, is available for up to four players. A few of the levels called Teamwork levels can only be finished in the cooperative mode, but they can be skipped when playing alone and are not necessary to complete the game.

Summary: Stellar Blade is a singleplayer hack-and-slash game set in a future in which Earth has been overrun by monstrous aliens known as the Naytibas. The player controls EVE, a sword-wielding female supersoldier whose squad is dispatched to Earth from a colony ship on a mission to capture or kill the elder Naytiba controlling much of the planet. After crash-landing, EVE must rendezvous with the surviving members of her squad and forge alliances with the survivors on the surface to complete her mission.

The player controls EVE from a behind-view perspective and can perform quick and heavy attacks as well as parry enemy attacks. Landing a hit on an enemy or parrying fills EVE's Beta Gauge, which allows her to perform a much stronger attack. Later in the game, EVE gains access to other weapons including a variety of guns and grenades as well as a Burst Gauge which can be filled by evading attacks. The Burst Gauge allows EVE to perform special abilities, such as the ability to pierce super armor or interrupt enemy combos.

Throughout their journey, the player can visit camps to save their progress, upgrade skills, and purchase items such as health potions and weapons. EVE's weapon and equipment loadout can be customized to suit different playstyles and her appearance can be changed by applying different skins and cosmetic items.

Summary: Stray is an action game with puzzle elements following a cat surviving in a neon-lit, decaying cybercity inspired by Kowloon Walled City. One day, the cat is separated from his family and tumbles down deep inside the underbelly of the city. Looking for a way back, it roams the environments and meets the droids left behind, inhabiting the world devoid of the humans who designed them. The game mixes different types of gameplay in a largely linear experience. The cat navigates the environment by jumping on objects to find a way up or through sections. (Optional) prompts appear where it is possible to navigate and these can be strung together in a fluid, parkour-like chain.

One type of gameplay is through linear corridors, slowly exploring and finding a route. Other sections are fast-paced, involving Zurks, creatures that form groups and try to jump the cat. They attach themselves to the protagonist and can be shaken loose, but only for a while when their number is low. It is possible to die in these sections, so quick navigation is required combined with puzzle-solving. Later on a Defluxor device becomes available with brief use to destroy them using UV light. A third type of section is more of a hub environment with a large amount of freedom. Locations can be explored in any direction, getting on rooftops, sneaking inside buildings through windows and solving puzzles along the way. These sections often have goals locating specific items or droids, but also a lot of optional quests through collectibles and locating memories that provide more information about what happened to the city. It is possible to talk to characters through the B-12 flying drone, which the cat meets early on and is carried on his back. The droid is able to offer hints, light up the surroundings with a torch, translate the environment and can communicate with other characters. There are also items that can be picked up and are stored in an inventory. Some sections incorporate stealth, sneaking past characters or quickly avoiding security droids.

A lot of the gameplay revolves around typical cat behaviour interwoven with the game mechanics. It is possible to meow to attract the attention of enemies, push down items off objects, hide in cardboard boxes and jump on levers to activate them. The cat can also scratch doors to get the attention of those inside. Many of these interactions are also optional, such as lying down to sleep or nuzzling up legs.
